北海道舞踏フェスティバルが3年ぶりに開催
Hokkaido Butoh Festival to be held for the first time in three years
2017年に札幌国際舞踏フェスティバルが始まり、2018年からは北海道舞踏フェスティバルとして札幌、小樽、白老、苫小牧、函館、帯広、余市、美唄、月形、ニセコ、千歳など様々な都市で開催してきました。
2021年を最後にフェスティバルは一度休止しましたが、2024年には再開すると決め、2022年にプレパフォーマンスとして「BUTOH DNA」を札幌と小樽で開催しました。
そして、2024年に再び開催します。
The Sapporo International Butoh Festival began in 2017, and since 2018 it has been held as the Hokkaido Butoh Festival in various cities including Sapporo, Otaru, Shiraoi, Tomakomai, Hakodate, Obihiro, Yoichi, Bibai, Tsukigata, Niseko, and Chitose.
The festival was suspended after 2021, but decided to resume in 2024, and held “BUTOH DNA” in Sapporo and Otaru in 2022 as a pre-performance.
Finally, the festival will be held again in 2024.
コンセプトはNew ERA、若い舞踏家とアーティストを募集します
The concept is New ERA, young Butoh dancers and artists will be the main focus
北海道舞踏フェスティバル2024では、フェスティバルに参加してくれる【ダンサー／舞踏家】と、【身体表現以外のアーティスト】を募集します。
今回のフェスティバルのコンセプトのひとつに「若人と舞踏」というものがあり、おおむね３５歳以下のアーティストであることが条件となります。
ひとつは舞踏のシーン自体が平均年齢が高く、若い人の活動の場や舞踏に触れる機会が少ないこと。
ただ、応募人数が多くて審査する必要が生じたときに、年齢は優先事項であるということを申し上げておきます。
Hokkaido Butoh Festival 2024 is looking for dancers/Butoh artists and non-physical expression artists to participate in the festival.
One of the festival’s concepts is “new age,” and artists must be generally under 35 years old.
Why do we set an age limit?
One is that the average age of Butoh dancers active in the Butoh scene is high, and there are few opportunities for young people to be active and experience Butoh.
One is that we are seeing more and more news of the passing of great senior Butoh performers, and we think it is important for the scene to actively discover young performers.
We are told that applicants must be 35 years old or younger, but it is okay if you are a little older than that.
However, I would like to mention that age is a priority when the number of applicants is large and we need to screen them.
2024年は札幌と小樽でミステリー舞踏ツアーを開催！
In 2024, a mystery Butoh tour will be held in Sapporo and Otaru!
来場者は開始場所しか事前に教えられず、みんなで歩いて移動しながらパフォーマンスを観ることになります。
歩きやすい服装でお越しください。チケットの発売開始は7月中旬～下旬を予定しています。
Visitors will only be told in advance where to start, and everyone will have to walk around to watch the performance.
Please wear comfortable walking clothes.
Tickets will go on sale mid to late July.
