About CONTE Dance Production

2012年に札幌市中央区にて「CONTE Dance & Bodyworks Center」として開設しました。
設立当初はダンススタジオとしての色合いが強く、コンテンポラリーダンス、舞踏、ボディーワークなど様々なクラスを設けていました。

のちに「CONTE-SAPPORO Dance Center」に名称を改め、シーンの環境整備や中間支援的な事業を増やし、ゆっくりとダンスセンター化していきました。

具体的にはアーティスト支援として国内外のダンサーや振付家の北海道での活動のサポート、振付家講座など札幌のダンサーや振付家の育成事業、ダンスフェスティバルの運営・広報やPR・助成金申請サポート・各種相談・稽古場支援・国際交流など多岐に渡るプロジェクトを次々と実施していきました。

2024年に使用頻度が減少していたスタジオをクローズし、新たに「CONTE Dance Production」として活動を展開してまいります。

In 2012, the center opened as “CONTE Dance & Bodyworks Center” in Chuo-ku, Sapporo.
When it was first established, it was more of a dance studio, offering a variety of classes including contemporary dance, Butoh, and bodyworks.

Later, the name was changed to “CONTE-SAPPORO Dance Center,” and the center slowly became a dance center by increasing the number of projects to improve the environment of the scene and to provide intermediate support.

Specifically, we supported dancers and choreographers from Japan and abroad in their activities in Hokkaido as an artist support program, held choreographer courses and other projects to foster dancers and choreographers in Sapporo, operated dance festivals, provided publicity and PR, supported grant applications, provided various consultations, supported rehearsal spaces, and conducted international exchange, among many other projects. The number of projects was reduced by 2024.

In 2024, the studio, which had been used less frequently, will be closed and its activities will be newly developed as “CONTE Dance Production.

北海道舞踏フェスティバル

コンテンポラリーダンスや舞踏の国際的なダンスフェスティバルを実施し、国内外から多くのダンサー、舞踏家が札幌に訪れました。
たくさんのダンス作品が集まるダンスフェスティバルを開催したことで、多様な作品を紹介することができました。

We held an international dance festival of contemporary dance and Butoh, and many dancers and Butoh artists from Japan and abroad visited Sapporo.
By holding a dance festival that attracted many dance works, we were able to introduce a diverse range of works.

サッポロコレオ振付家養成講座

ダンスに没頭する4日間

地方都市では振付家が育成されにくい傾向があり、そういった状況を打破すべく実施した人材育成プログラム。
定期的に開催しており、その都度現状の課題に見合った内容にアップデートして開催してきました。

This is a human resource development program implemented to solve the problem that choreographers tend to be hard to train in regional cities.
The program has been held on a regular basis, each time updating the content to meet the current issues.

札幌のダンスシーンの環境をより整えるために、札幌の課題やシーンに足りない要素を織り込んだ企画公演を積極的に実施してきました。
（オーディションによる若手の登用、多分野との協働公演、特定のテーマを題材にした作品など）

In order to further improve the environment of the dance scene in Hokkaido, we have been proactively implementing planned performances that include elements that are lacking in the performing arts scene in Hokkaido.

出演交渉や契約など

プロモーション

金額交渉や出演交渉、契約内容の確認などをアーティストの代わりに請け負っています。また、アーティストのプロモーションの為の写真や映像を制作しています。

We undertake the negotiation of the amount of money, the performance, and the confirmation of the contract on behalf of the artist. We also produce photographs and videos for artists’ promotional purposes.

舞台写真、舞台映像、宣伝写真や映像などのビジュアルワークを請け負っております。
撮影とセットになりますが、紙媒体やWEBのデザインを請け負うこともあります。

We undertake visual work such as stage photography, stage video, and promotional photography and video.
We also undertake design work for print media and the web, although this is often combined with photo shoots.

Documentary

海外のリアルなダンス事情など、オンラインでのコンテンツの配信や販売を行っております。
ドキュメンタリーフィルムを制作することもあります。

We distribute and sell content online, including real dance situations overseas.

しらおい文化交流

芸術祭やイベント、アート系のお祭りなどの演出や企画運営管理を担うこともあります。

We undertake the staging and planning and management of art festivals, events, and art-related festivals.

アーツカウンシル友の会

芸術文化政策などの勉強会やフォーラム、場づくりに関わる機会が多いです。制度設計のヒヤリングや提言に関わったりもしています。

We are involved in study groups, forums, and placemaking for arts and culture policy. We are also involved in hearings and recommendations for institutional design.

北海道×九州文化芸術交流

北と南の文化芸術交流を実施するため、北海道×九州文化芸術交流実行委員会を立ち上げて活動を展開しています。

In order to implement cultural and artistic exchange between the north and south of Japan, the Hokkaido x Kyushu Culture and Arts Exchange Executive Committee has been established and is developing activities.

飛生アートコミュニティー

白老町旧飛生地区の廃校を活用した共同アトリエのコミュニティー。メンバーとして芸術祭と森づくりの活動を行っています。

A community of communal studios in an abandoned school in the former Tobiu district of Shiraoi-cho. As a member, we are involved in the art festival and forestation activities.

田嶼碩朗彫刻美術財団

CONTEプロデューサーの森嶋の曽祖父である彫刻家・田嶼碩朗の財団です。いろいろとあり、森嶋が理事長を務めています。

It is the foundation of sculptor Sekiro Tajima, who is the great-grandfather of CONTE producer Morishima. Morishima serves as chairman of the board.
